Security footage released by police reveals a black Jeep pulling into the parking lot of a motel shortly after midnight on Sunday. Three women approached the back door of the building, where several people appeared to hold the door open for them.

According to the release, the women knocked on the door of a room where the mother was staying with her son. When the mother opened the door, the three women allegedly rushed inside and overpowered the mother before taking the boy.

The footage shows three women running out of the back door, one holding a small child. Another woman, identified by police as the mother, chased after them and managed to remove the front license plate from the Jeep before it pulled away.

Police soon pulled over a vehicle matching the license plate near the Dallas city limits and found an 11-year-old child and the missing boy inside, according to the release. The driver, Lashonda Price, was arrested and charged with kidnapping. Her bail was set at $20,000.

A second suspect, Romeisha Brown, turned herself in to Garland police Wednesday evening. The last suspect, Kemberly Williams, was arrested early Thursday morning at a motel in Garland, police announced. The two women also face kidnapping charges.

Police think the mother opened the door because she thought a friend was knocking, according to the Garland Police Department release. Police said they believe the suspects knew the mother, though the incident is still under investigation.
